Signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) in 2003. Bleyenberg scored 4 goals and added 3 assists in 18 games during his rookie season for the Steamers in the 2003/04 campaign.

PDL

Started 29 of the 29 games he played in the 2002 and 2003 seasons scoring 22 goals and adding 13 assists. A top 10 scorer in the nation both summers, Bleyenberg earned ALL-PDL second team honors in 2002 and ALL-PDL Heartland Division First Team honors in 2003. He was KC Brass team captain both years. In 2003 Bleyenberg earned KC Brass Offensive Player of the Year and Goal of the Year honors.
