KC Brass: Played with the KC Brass since his senior year in high school (2000). Joined KC Brass late in the season last summer and started all 3 games he played.

College

Marquette: Has totalled 5 goals and 8 assists playing defense, midfield, and forward for the Golden Eagles. Will be a junior this Fall. Was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week during the 2002 season.

Member of Kansas '81 ODP State Team from '95-99.

High School

Rockhurst: A three-year starter for the two-time state champion Hawklets, Darby was team captain as a senior. He was All-Missouri First Team as a senior and was also named the state's Defensive Player of the Year. Darby was a first-team member of the all-district (sophomore-senior), all-metro (senior), All-Western Region Missouri (junior and senior) and All-Sports Connection Magazine (junior and senior) teams. 

In the classroom, he was a four-year member of the Rockhurst Honor Roll and two-year member of the National Honor Society. Darby was the school's "R" Award winner as a senior and was named a Top 10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Kansas City Star. 

Personal

Born May 2, 1981, Darby is the son of Robert and Diane Darby. He has one older brother, one older sister and one younger sister. His brother Brett played soccer and baseball for Southern Illinois and his sister Bridget played soccer for Northwestern. He participated in mission trip to Honduras over spring break of senior year. Darby is an English major.
