Adam Blinzler

KC Brass: Played with the KC Brass since his senior year in high school (2000). Last season he played in 13 games, starting in 6. 

College

Grand Canyon University: As a junior defender and midfielder last year, Adam played in 18 and started in 13 games.  Grand Canyon is a nationally ranked Division 2 NCAA school playing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.  Over the last seven years the CCAA has produced five NCAA Division 2 National Champions.  Last season was no exception with the National Champion Sonoma State gaining the crown.  Grand Canyon was one of eight colleges out of twelve in the CCAA ranked in the top twenty in the nation during 2002.  
Johnson County Community College:
Adam started in all but one game as member of the Johnson County Community College squad that captured 3rd in the Nation in 2001.  He was recognized for his efforts by being named to the National Championship Tournament First Team.  During his tenure at JCCC, the school twice won the Regional Championship and was ranked in the top 15 of Div. 1 Junior Colleges in the nation.

Member of Kansas '82 ODP State Team.

High School

Blue Valley North: A two-year varsity letter winner.  His senior year, when he captained the team, the Mustangs won the Northeast Kansas Regional.    Blinzler received all East Kansas League first team honors, was selected to the Kansas All Academic Team, and twice selected among the top twenty high school soccer players by the All-Sports Connection Magazine.  Additionally, he was a member of Kansas State ODP team. 

Personal

Born March 19, 1982, Adam is the son of Alan and Kelly Blinzler. He has two younger sisters, Erin and Becky. Erin plays soccer for Baker University and was a member and captain of the 2002 Blue Valley North State Championship Soccer team. Becky plays on a Up premier soccer team. Adam is majoring in Graphics Design and Art.
