Matt Blouin and Allan Nekuda, the top two goal scorers for the KC Brass during the 2006 season, were selected in the 2007 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) College Draft. Nekuda was selected in the second round by the Detroit Ignition. Blouin was drafted in the fourth round by the Orlando Sharks.
"Allan Nekuda and Matt Blouin are very dedicated players who always gave great effort at training, performed on the field and were role models for their younger Brass teammates," said KC Brass Coach Lincoln Roblee.
During their time with the KC Brass, Blouin scored 7 goals and added 4 assists and Nekuda scored 6 goals and added 3 assists. Both Matt Blouin and Allan Nekuda also participated in the United Soccer Leagues Player Combine at Tampa, Florida in December, 2006.
